These terms set out the rules for using SOC Rotate. Please read them carefully. If your organisation has a separate signed agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence where it conflicts with these terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SOC Rotate website and scheduling application (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
Where a separate signed agreement or order form exists between SOC Rotate and your organisation, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.
SOC Rotate provides shift-scheduling, rotation, coverage, and related operational tooling for Security Operations Centers. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect core functionality.
You agree not to:
You retain all rights to the data you and your users submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide and support the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide Customer Data, including any personal data about your team members.
Access to paid features is subject to the plan or order agreed with your organisation. Trials, where offered, are provided as-is and may be modified or ended at our discretion. Fees, billing cycles, and renewal terms are set out in the applicable order form or plan description.
We work to keep the Service available and performant but do not guarantee uninterrupted access unless a service level commitment is stated in a separate agreement. Planned maintenance will be communicated where practical. Support is available at support@socrotate.com.
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by SOC Rotate and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with them.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. SOC Rotate is a planning and coordination tool; it does not replace your organisation's own responsibility for staffing decisions, legal compliance, and operational coverage.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOC Rotate will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts paid by your organisation for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data export and deletion are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the product or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to legal@socrotate.com.
